Easy screen capture for Maths lessons

March 23, 2010 § Leave a comment

I won’t be able to teach my maths classes in person this Thursday and Friday because I am visiting some other schools, however I will be teaching the students by making use of jing. Jing is a simple screen capture tool that allows me to record my voice alongside screen shots from Powerpoint. It is really easy to use and the file format means I can easily upload the videos to our school’s moodle. The videos can run for up to 5 minutes and the file sizes created seem reasonable.
